Tissue and Transfer
Transfer and application tapes are essential tools for moving cut graphics, lettering, and decals cleanly from their backing to the final surface. They help keep spacing accurate, alignment neat, and installation faster—whether you’re applying vinyl lettering, printed decals, labels, or stencil material.
There are two main types:
-
Application tape (paper or clear film): A carrier layer that lifts and holds the graphic together for positioning.
-
Transfer tape (high-tack adhesive transfer): Often used where a stronger grip is needed to lift certain films, or to transfer materials that don’t release easily.
If you’ve ever tried applying separate letters one-by-one and questioned all your life choices, this is the fix.
Why use transfer or application tape?
-
Cleaner installs: Keeps designs together and prevents stretching or distortion.
-
Accurate alignment: Makes positioning easy on walls, windows, panels, vehicles, and more.
-
Faster workflow: Apply full words or logos in one go instead of piece-by-piece.
-
Better results on tricky graphics: Helps with small text, fine detail, and multi-part layouts.
-
Options for different materials: Choose the tack and carrier that suits your job.
