Shipping & Returns
Rite Adhesives understands that fast delivery matters. When you order online, you can use the delivery map on our website to view average delivery times for your area.

Free delivery Australia-wide on website orders of $98 (ex GST) or more.

Flat $18 delivery surcharge applies to website orders under $98 (ex GST).

Non-website orders (phone or email) are charged freight at cost, using our delivery network.

If an estimated delivery date falls on a weekend, delivery will occur on the next business day (Monday–Friday).

Our freight provider’s standard ETA is “delivered by 5pm”.

You’ll receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched from our warehouse.

Website orders placed by 3pm (Monday–Friday) are shipped same day. Orders placed after 3pm ship the next business day.

We require a street address for delivery. PO Boxes are not accepted. If you enter a PO Box, we’ll contact you to request a street address.

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday only.
Returns policy and your consumer rights
All of our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
If you are a consumer under the ACL, you are entitled to:
-
a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage; and
-
a repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Voluntary warranty
This Voluntary Warranty is issued by Rite Adhesives (“Rite Adhesives”). It does not restrict, modify or exclude your rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or other applicable laws.
1. 14-day change of mind returns (online store only)
In addition to your ACL rights, if you purchased from Rite Adhesives via our online store, you may return a product for a change of mind within 14 days of receiving it, provided:
-
you complete the Rite Adhesives return form in full; and
-
the return meets the requirements in the Returns Policy below.
If you request an exchange within the 14-day period and the return is approved, Rite Adhesives will ship the exchanged item to you at no charge.
Returns outside the 14-day period for change of mind:
-
incur a 20% restocking fee; and
-
return shipping (including exchange shipping) is not covered by Rite Adhesives.
2. Limitation of liability for non-consumer type goods
Where the product is not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use or consumption, and the product is defective or does not meet consumer guarantees, Rite Adhesives limits its liability (to the extent permitted by law) to one of the following, at its discretion:
-
replacement of the goods or supply of equivalent goods; or
-
repair of the goods; or
-
refund of the purchase price and shipping costs.
To the extent permitted by law, this limitation excludes liability for other loss or damage (including lost profits or savings and special, incidental or consequential damages). This limitation does not apply to claims for personal injury, and it does not affect any rights that cannot be excluded under the ACL/CCA.
Returns policy (change of mind)
This policy applies only to change-of-mind returns under clause 1 of the Voluntary Warranty. It does not limit your rights under the ACL (including consumer guarantees).

Rite Adhesives does not guarantee acceptance of returns for opened products, except where required under the ACL. We may still accept opened goods if all other return requirements are met.

Change-of-mind returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery. Returns after 14 days incur a restocking fee, and the customer must pay return shipping for exchanges.

If returning after 14 days and requesting an exchange, the return must include exchange freight back to the customer, prepaid or otherwise provided for by the customer.

A completed Rite Adhesives return form must be included with the return, along with the invoice number, reason for return, and requested action (exchange, refund, or credit). Returns may be refused if the form is incomplete or missing.

Returns must include all original packaging, packing materials, manuals, warranty cards, accessories and any other included documentation. Missing items may result in refusal or charges (at Rite Adhesives’ discretion).

Returned goods must be in pristine, re-saleable condition. Packaging must not be written on or defaced, or the return may be refused.

The customer bears the risk of damage or loss in transit. We recommend using insured shipping and a carrier that provides proof of delivery.

For refunds or credits, please allow up to 30 days from acceptance of the return for processing.
