Invisifix Clear Construction Adhesive is a professional crystal-clear adhesive designed for jobs where you need a strong bond without leaving the adhesive visually obvious.
Think of it as the clear alternative when you want Ritetack-style construction bonding with a discreet finish. Invisifix cures with humidity to form a clear, virtually odourless and elastic bond, making it particularly useful for detail-focused installations, decorative finishes and applications where visible adhesive lines would detract from the finished job.
Supplied in a 290mL cartridge, Invisifix can be used on a wide range of common construction materials and is suitable for indoor and sheltered outdoor applications where it will not be continuously exposed to UV.
Strong bond. Clear finish.
Invisifix is designed for applications where appearance matters just as much as adhesion. Its transparent formulation helps keep the adhesive discreet once applied, making it a practical choice for visible joins, decorative materials and clean architectural finishes.
- Crystal-clear finish for discreet bonding
- High-strength construction adhesive for professional applications
- Swift initial grab to help position materials during installation
- Suitable for damp, wet and impervious surfaces where the application is compatible
- Virtually odourless after application
- Elastic after curing to accommodate movement in suitable bonds
- Non-corrosive to metals
- Adheres without primer on most suitable surfaces
- 290mL cartridge for controlled application
- 18-month shelf life when stored as recommended in unopened packaging
Where appearance matters
Opaque construction adhesives can leave visible lines or edges around transparent, decorative or highly finished materials. Invisifix is formulated to remain clear, helping create a cleaner finished result without sacrificing the strength expected from a professional construction adhesive.
It is particularly useful for installations where adhesive visibility needs to be kept to a minimum.
What is Invisifix used for?
Invisifix is a versatile clear construction adhesive suited to a wide range of building, fit-out, repair and installation applications.
Compatible materials include:
- Concrete
- Ceramic
- Timber
- Plasterboard
- Brick
- Cement fibre
- MDF
- Aluminium
- Suitable metals
- Most compatible plastics
- Plaster
- Stone, subject to suitability testing
- Polystyrene
- Polyurethane
Always test adhesion and compatibility before completing the full installation, particularly on plastics, coated surfaces, natural stone and other finish-sensitive materials.
Useful when surfaces are not perfectly dry
Invisifix can be used on damp, wet and impervious surfaces where the substrate and application are suitable. This gives installers additional flexibility when site conditions are less than ideal.
For optimal results, surfaces should still be sound, clean and free from grease, oil and contamination. Where conditions allow, a clean and dry substrate remains the preferred starting point.
Indoor and sheltered outdoor use
Invisifix can be used for both interior and exterior applications, provided the cured adhesive is not subjected to continuous or prolonged UV exposure.
For outdoor applications, consider where the adhesive line will sit once installed. Applications where the bond is protected from direct, ongoing sunlight are better suited to Invisifix than continuously UV-exposed joints.
Clear, elastic performance after cure
Invisifix uses hybrid technology and cures under the influence of humidity to form a clear, elastic rubber-like bond.
Its stated tensile strength is 2.05 N/mm², with 375% elongation at break. Once cured, the adhesive has a stated temperature resistance from -40°C to +90°C.
How to apply Invisifix
- Apply between +5°C and +40°C for both the environment and substrate.
- For optimal results, ensure surfaces are solid, clean and free from grease, oil and contamination.
- Apply Invisifix in vertical stripes.
- Space the adhesive stripes approximately 10–20cm apart, depending on the application.
- Do not apply in dots or patches.
- Press the materials firmly into position.
- For a more secure installation while the adhesive cures, use suitable double-sided tape as temporary support.
- Always perform a small adhesion test before full application.
Invisifix cures at approximately 2–3mm per 24 hours. Cure speed will vary depending on adhesive thickness, humidity, temperature and the materials being bonded.

Invisifix limitations
Invisifix is designed for versatile clear bonding, but the transparent formulation is not suitable for every substrate or environment.
- Not suitable for PE (polyethylene)
- Not suitable for PP (polypropylene)
- Not suitable for PTFE
- Not suitable for soft plastics
- Not suitable for neoprene
- Not suitable for bituminous substrates
- Not suitable for continuous UV exposure
- Natural stone applications are limited and should be tested first
- Mirror applications are limited and should be tested before use
Always carry out a small test application first. Substrate composition, surface treatments, coatings, moisture, UV exposure and installation conditions can all affect final bond performance.
When the bond should hold, not show
For detailed installs, decorative materials and jobs where a traditional opaque adhesive would be too visible, Invisifix delivers professional construction bonding with a crystal-clear finish.
Strong where you need it. Clear where you don't.
No delivery surcharge on orders over $98. If the amount is not reached, a single $18 fee will be applied to your total.
